About 2minnews
2minnews exists for one moment: you have two minutes and you want to know what happened today in the United Kingdom. No sections to navigate, no endless articles — one feed, short verified briefs, and the original reporting one tap away.
What you get
- The stories people in the United Kingdom are searching for and reading right now.
- Three to five checked facts per story: what happened, what is new, what comes next.
- A picture, a trailer or a track for every story where one exists.
- A direct link to the publication that did the reporting — we do not republish articles.
How we work
Stories are selected from search trends and the news wires of the United Kingdom, then briefed from the source articles with AI assistance and checked against those sources before they go out: every number and every name in a brief must appear in the reporting it rests on. What we cannot verify, we leave out.
Ownership and funding
2minnews is published by 2minnews, an independent publisher. Editorial responsibility sits with the 2minnews Editorial Team. The site is funded by advertising served programmatically; advertisers have no say in what we cover and are never told about stories in advance.
